Working with Karen Johnson from Facial Palsy UK the author of 'When Teddy lost his Smile', I was asked to design and illustrate this 32 page colour picture book.
The books aims are:
Improve self esteem in children with facial palsy by normalising the condition.
Reduce feelings of isolation in children so they do not feel they are the only one.
Increase awareness of facial palsy in schools and the wider community.
